Job Description:

Our team at NENAS is dynamic and our commitment for helping people is the driving force to our success. We are looking for a Lead Receptionist to join our team. As a Lead Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our organization.
 
Responsibilities
-  Serving visitors at the front desk by welcoming and directing them appropriately
-  Perform opening and closing duties Monday to Friday
-  Answering incoming phone calls, screening and directing calls, taking messages and  making appointments
-  Provide administrative support services
-  Maintain filing system
-  Stationery/supplies inventory control
-  Coordinate meeting/training room schedule
-  Ensure meeting/training room is organized, tidy and presentable daily
-  Ensure kitchen is organized and kept tidy daily
-  Receive, record and distribute daily mail/deliveries and couriers
-  Ensure front end and client services area is tidy and presentable, and all resource material is accessible and available to our clients
-  Perform general office duties such as photocopying, filing, faxing, data entry and scanning
-  Maintain job board and library
-  Assist clients in using computers, the fax/phone/photocopier
-  Supporting the Manager and Human Resources/Program Support with duties assigned      

Salary will be based on industry standards.  This position is eligible for our comprehensive benefits plan that includes Extended Health, Dental and Vision care.

Job Requirements:

The successful candidate should possess:
-  Minimum Grade 12 education with at least 2 years related administrative work in an office environment
-  Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
-  Professional attitude and appearance
-  Good organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
-  Solid written and verbal communication skills
-  Excellent customer service attitude with a sincere desire and willingness to work in a professional office environment, with remarkable telephone manners
-  Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and experience in a First Nations environment is desirable
-  Individuals of Aboriginal ancestry are encouraged to apply.
