Description
Northern Auto Electric Ltd. is looking for a motivated Automotive Technician to join our fast-paced automotive electrical repair shop. We are currently seeking a 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice or Journeyperson Technician to become part of our growing team.
Responsibilities include:
- Working on heavy-duty trucks and equipment
- Servicing automotive vehicles and RVs
- Installing and repairing VMAC systems
- Diagnosing and repairing diesel heaters
- Rebuilding starters and alternators
- Performing vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Wiring trailers, tow vehicles, and wide-load signs
- Completing other related mechanical and electrical duties as required
Wage
Starting wage is $22.00 per hour, with higher compensation available based on experience, qualifications, and certification level.
Qualifications
- 3rd Year Apprentice, 4th Year Apprentice, or Journeyperson Technician
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Experience with automotive electrical systems is an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Valid driver's license preferred
