Camp Attendant

ATCO Frontec is seeking a Camp Attendant to join our Two Rivers Lodge in Fort St John, BC. The Camp Attendant will be responsible for general housekeeping at the Lodge.

Where We Work and Live:

The Two Rivers Lodge is located 7 kilometers southwest of Fort St. John, BC. Candidates local to Fort St John are preferred. This position is based on an 8 day on, 6 day off rotation.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain clean and hygienic conditions of the bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen units.
• Make beds, changes sheets, distributes clean towels and toiletries
• Wash, dry, and fold linens and towels.
• Assist in laundry as needed
• Dust and vacuum all furniture and draperies.
• Sweep, mop, wash, wax and polish floors.
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers
• Wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
• Ensure adherence to all government regulations as well as ATCO Frontec Health and Safety, policies and procedures.
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Experience in a remote camp environment is an asset
• 1 or more years of housekeeping experience in the camp or hotel industry is considered an asset
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to multitask
• Excellent people skills
• Clear and effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage time in a fast-paced environment
