    Job Description

    Are you an Electrician looking for a permanent opportunity? We are actively looking for Journeyperson Electricians to join our dynamic team for a permanent position based in Fort St. John, BC, with an immediate start with a consistent Monday-to-Friday schedule. As a valued member of FLINT, you'll bring your skills as a qualified Electrician to play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our electrical systems, equipment, and infrastructure. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing crucial electrical components that underpin the seamless functioning of our facilities and operations.

    What would you be doing?

    • Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and electrical code specifications to decide wiring layouts.
    • Cut, thread, bend, assemble and install conduits and other types of electrical conductor enclosures and fixtures.
    • Pull wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors.
    • Position, support and install equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breaker, fiber optic cables, panels, and fuse enclosures.
    • Install, replace, support and repair electrical systems and related electrical equipment.
    • Testing circuits to ensure integrity and safety.

    Perks of the job 

    • Competitive pay from $40.00/hr to $44.00/hr. Your compensation will be based on your registered ITA trade level, cumulative skills, and work experience.

    Other important details 

    This position has beenidentifiedas a safety sensitive position and will require completion of a drug and alcohol testing.


    Does this sound like you?

    • Have a Journeyperson Electrician ticket.
    • Valid and up to up-to-date tickets: H2S Alive, Standard First Aid.
    • Have high regard for personal safety, company assets, and employees.
    • Ability to work well under pressure and handle strict deadlines.
    • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
    • Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.
