Equipment and Field Operations Technician

• Perform scheduled maintenance and unscheduled repairs of farm equipment.
• Complete field operations including seeding, spraying, swathing and combining.
• Load and unload grain trucks and bins using augers and other conveyor systems.
• Perform general farm duties as required.

The successful applicant must:

• Have experience maintaining, operating and repairing equipment.
• Have a valid class 5 Drivers Licence.
• Be self motivated and be able to work alone for long periods of time.
• Be able to communicate clearly in English through both verbal and written means.
• Be physically fit to perform field work and heavy lifting.
• Be flexible to work longer hours during the production season.

Preference will be given to the applicant who:

• Has experience operating large equipment
• Has a Class 1 drivers Licence
• Has training and/or experience as an agricultural or heavy duty equipment mechanic
