Description

  • Ability to provide counselling, education and advocacy support to children age 3-18 who have witnessed domestic violence.
  • Provide emotional and parenting support for parents regarding the impact on their children of witnessing violence.
  • Develop and conduct psycho-educational support groups for children.
  • Ability to operate a PC and related software.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related /social service field.
  • Two years recent related experience, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Start date is June 3, 2024 and employment offer is valid until current incumbent returns from leave of employment.
  • You must have a valid BC Class 5 driver’s license.
