Job Description

We are looking for Rig Welders with BC Class A tickets to join our pipeline project in the Fort St. John area. 

This position is expected to start in early March, and it is expected to finish at the end of May. There is camp available for non-local workers. 

What would you be doing? 

  • Interpret welding procedure specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints.
  • Prepare jigs or set-ups for welding.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
  • Operate Oxygen arc cutting equipment and hoisting and lifting equipment.

Other important details

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.

Qualifications

Does this sound like you?

  • Journeyperson Welder Ticket
  • B- Pressure and CWB Tickets.
  • Carbon Welding certification.
  • Valid WHMIS, Fall Protection and AWP (Aerial Work Platform) tickets are required.
  • Have safety as a top priority
