Description

First Choice Team is growing and looking for a self motivated individual with strong customer service skills to take on the Service Associate (SA) role. SAs build trust and inspire confidence through exceptional service.  As a SA, you will provide service and administrative support to the Advisor.

Candidates hired into this role will not have an employment or contractor relationship with Sun Life. Their services will be engaged exclusively by the Advisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete trades on an Advisor's direction in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide superior Client service in person, on the phone and by email.
  • Implement efficient procedures for the administration of Client files.
  • Support the advisor in monitoring and responding to Head Office inquiries.
  • Work in partnership to assist administrative support of existing and future clients.

Qualifications

Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities required with the ability to work independently and with minimal direction. Must be a team player who is willing to contribute and help others.  Accountable, with great attention to detail is a must.  Successful candidate would require the skill to prioritize when handling high work volumes.  Applicant needs to be proficient in working with computers and would require the ability to learn new technology tools quickly.

Additional Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge in Mutual Fund industry an asset. Completion of Investment Funds in Canada course and licensing/registration in place or to be completed in on year.
  • Must be in good standing with applicable regulators.
  • Previous experience in customer service, or other related fields an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player with a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Strong relationship and business development skills.
  • Proficient with Word, Excel and able to learn new technology quickly.
